Supersensitive early warning detection systems in medical contexts.

Secure genetics interacts with BIOTRACES of Herndon, Virginia, USA, which has developed a Multi Photon Detection system based on coincident emission of X-rays and gamma-rays. Multiple emission isotopic analyses, together with Multi Photon Detection platforms and proprietary software, provide exquisitely sensitive detection capabilities which are orders of magnitude better than conventional systems.

Biotraces technologies allow quantitation at the remarkable zeptomole (10 -21 mole) level, and are used in diverse biomedical applications such as detection of nucleic acids from viral and bacterial sources, (HIV, CMV and RSV and E. coli), as well as in immunoassays, allergen and toxin detection.

Microarray platforms.

Secure Genetics publishes on technical and bioinformatic challenges in diverse biological contexts.
